The Congress of Young Scientists will combine football and science as it explores ball aerodynamics, biomechanics of movement, and recovery algorithms.

A team of young scientists from the Coordinating Council will take on sporting legends from the ‘Under the Flag of Kindness’ Charity Foundation that will include Russian champions Dmitry Sennikov and Dmitry Gradilenko and Barcelona-slayer Denis Mashkarin. Commentating for the event will be Match TV host Artyom Shmelkov.

After the match, the foundation will present the interactive Myth Solvers platform, which will explain what science has to offer elite athletes.

The football legends and young scientists will also take part in a sports science quiz, debunk popular myths about training and recovery, and field questions from children participating in the Russian Football – School of Life Inclusive Festival.
