WHAT VISA TO GET?

If you need a visa to enter the Russian Federation, you can apply for one of two types of visas:

In the consular offices of the Russian Federation abroad, upon providing all necessary documents, Congress participants can obtain a short-term single-entry visa for entry into the Russian Federation on the day of application for the period from November 19 to December 5, 2025.

How to get a visa?

To obtain a visa, you need to prepare:

1. Create an invitation for those entering from foreign countries

This is not an invitation to the Congress, but a special document from the organizers, which is available in the Personal Account.

  • Approved participants are sent an official invitation to the Congress by email.
  • After receiving the invitation, it is necessary to confirm participation in Personal account.
  • Next, go to the "Visa Support" tab in Personal account.
  • Your personal data will be automatically uploaded to the document from your Personal Account. Add the country and city of visa application to the document yourself.
  • To make changes to personal data, contact a specialist from the Roscongress Foundation. The specialist's contacts are listed in the Personal Account next to the photo and the information letter with the invitation

  • Download and print the invitation for those entering from foreign countries
  • Contact the relevant consular office of the Russian Federation abroad and provide an invitation for those entering from foreign countries and other documents for obtaining a visa.

2. Contact the consular office

To obtain an entry visa to the Russian Federation, the invited person must apply to the relevant consular office of the Russian Federation abroad. Information about the location of Russian consular offices can be found on the website Consular Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

We recommend participants to contact the consular authorities of the Russian Federation in advance - no less than 2 (two) weeks before departure

The unified electronic visa is single-entry. The validity period of the unified electronic visa is 60 days from the day of its issuance

The permitted period of stay in the Russian Federation under a unified electronic visa within its validity period is no more than 16 days from the date of entry.

How to get a visa?

To apply for a unified electronic visa, you need to fill out an application for obtaining an electronic visa on a specialized website Russian Foreign Ministry.

You can submit an application no earlier than 40 days and no later than 4 days before the expected date of entry into the Russian Federation

The unified electronic visa is issued on a paid basis - payment is made on website of the Russian Foreign Ministry using internet acquiring technology with bank cards of international payment systems (Visa, Mastercard, etc.)

Refund of payment is not provided for any result of the application processing
