Taking into account the existing restrictions on the use of foreign bank cards in the territory of the Russian Federation We recommend having cash with you for the entire duration of being at Congress.

You can freely exchange cash in US dollars, euros, and Chinese yuan for cash in rubles. For currency exchange operations, you must present an identity document.

Bank cards

On the territory of the Russian Federation, cards of the "Mir" payment system operate without restrictions in any currency. You can apply for a card upon arrival in Russia / bring an existing card of this payment system with you, if possible.

Please note that UnionPay cards are not accepted in all retail outlets, and when using cards from this payment system, failures may occur selectively and transactions may not be processed.

To obtain a card, a foreign citizen will need:

• passport of a foreign citizen or another identity document;
• document confirming the right to stay in Russia (visa, migration card).
