President of the Russian Federation meetings with Congress participants

The Congress is an annual business, exhibition, and communication platform for the international scientific community established by Vladimir Putin in 2021.

It brings together prominent leaders of science, members of leading scientific schools from different regions of Russia, scientific and educational organizations, government bodies, industrial partners, representatives of business and state corporations, and most importantly, young scientists. Participants of the Young Scientists Congress are traditionally given the opportunity to meet with the President.

Programme

The Congress programme includes business, exhibition, sports, and cultural (evening) programmes. The business programme traditionally consists of roundtables, expert sessions, and panel discussions and provides participants with the opportunity to attend a range of engaging informal events.

Participants

Participation in the event is free. After the registration and selection process, participants will get login details for the personal web office.

Foreign participants in the Congress will be provided with visa support and the opportunity to obtain a short-term visa.

Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, October 14-16, 2025.

Experts will be offered regional tasks for work in the following blocks: "frostwater", "construction", "operation", "ecology", "reclamation". During the three working days of the satellite event, participants will have to develop draft solutions on five priority regional themes declared by the executive authorities of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug:

  1. Technologies for the reclamation of solid municipal waste dumps in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
  2. Development of reclamation technology using yagel for the restoration of disturbed lands of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
  3. Technological solutions for roads in the natural and climatic conditions of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
  4. Development of a methodology for modeling and forecasting permafrost and climate risks for the territory of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
  5. Creation of a unified greenhouse gas monitoring network in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug for monitoring processes on the Arctic shelf.
